🔄 Change
“There is nothing permanent except change.”

If everything changes, then the hard stuff you're going through right now? It won't last forever either. Hold on to that when things feel heavy. Better days are literally built into how the world works.

Sometimes, the world feels like it is spinning a little too fast, and we find ourselves clinging to the familiar like a little duckling clinging to its mother's feathers. The words of Heraclitus remind us that the only thing we can truly count on is the ebb and flow of life itself. Change isn't just an occasional visitor; it is the very fabric of our existence. When we stop resisting the tide and start learning how to swim with it, we find a strange kind of peace in the midst of the unknown.

In our everyday lives, we often mistake stability for a lack of movement. We want our routines to stay the same, our friendships to never evolve, and our comfort zones to remain untouched. But if you look closely at a garden, you will see that even the most solid-looking oak tree is constantly changing, growing new leaves and shedding the old. Life is a series of transitions, and while that can feel scary, it is also where all the magic happens. Without change, there would be no growth, no new beginnings, and no beautiful surprises.

I remember a time when I felt completely lost because a major part of my life suddenly shifted. It felt like the ground beneath my feet had turned into water. I spent so many days mourning what used to be, trying to force the old version of my life to stay. It wasn't until I realized that the change was actually creating space for something new that I began to breathe again. It was like a season ending so that a new, brighter spring could finally arrive. That shift in perspective changed everything for me.

It is okay to feel a bit wobbly when things shift around you. You don't have to have all the answers right away. Instead of asking how you can stop the change, try asking what this new chapter is trying to teach you. What small, beautiful thing might be blooming in the space where the old has faded away? Take a deep breath and trust that you are capable of navigating whatever waves come your way.

Today, I want to encourage you to look at one area of your life that feels uncertain. Instead of bracing against it, try to observe it with curiosity. What would happen if you embraced this transition with an open heart?
