🎯 Purpose
“What you seek is seeking you”

Purpose is a mutual pursuit between you and your calling.

Have you ever felt like you are wandering through a thick fog, searching for a sense of purpose or a spark of joy that seems just out of reach? Rumi’s beautiful words, What you seek is seeking you, act like a gentle compass when we feel lost. To me, this quote suggests that our deepest desires, our passions, and even our true selves are not distant, unreachable islands. Instead, there is a profound, magnetic connection between our inner intentions and the universe around us. It is as if the very things we long for are also reaching out, waiting for us to align our hearts so we can finally recognize them when they arrive.

In our everyday lives, we often spend so much energy chasing after goals, thinking that we have to hunt them down with intense force. We treat happiness or success like a prey that is constantly running away from us. But what if we shifted our perspective? What if we focused more on becoming the kind of person who is ready to receive? Sometimes, the things we seek are already surrounding us, but we are too busy looking at the horizon to notice the magic happening right at our feet. It is about tuning our frequency to match the beauty we want to find.

I remember a time when I felt incredibly stuck, much like a little duckling lost in a storm. I was searching so hard for a sense of belonging and a meaningful way to use my voice. I spent months feeling frustrated, thinking I was failing because I couldn't find my 'path.' But one afternoon, while I was simply sitting quietly and practicing self-care, I found myself unexpectedly inspired to start writing again. The passion I had been chasing had been waiting for me to simply quiet my mind and be present. The moment I stopped the frantic pursuit, the inspiration found me.

This realization changed how I approach my daily struggles. Now, when I feel a sense of lack, I try to stop the chase and instead focus on cultivation. I work on my inner garden, tending to my kindness and my curiosity. As I grow, I trust that the fruits of my labor and the connections I crave are naturally gravitating toward me. There is a beautiful rhythm to life, a dance of attraction that requires us to trust the timing of our own unfolding.

Today, I want to encourage you to take a deep breath and let go of the frantic need to find all the answers right this second. Instead of looking outward with anxiety, try looking inward with curiosity. Ask yourself what beautiful things you are nurturing within your own heart. Trust that as you move toward your truest self, everything you truly need is already on its way to meet you halfway.
