🎯 Purpose
“Life can only be understood backwards but it must be lived forwards”

Purpose becomes clear in hindsight while requiring forward faith.

Have you ever sat staring at a messy pile of puzzle pieces, feeling completely lost because you can't see the picture on the box? That is exactly how life often feels when we are in the middle of a difficult season. Soren Kierkegaard’s beautiful words remind us that clarity is a luxury of the past. We spend so much energy trying to decipher the 'why' behind our current struggles, yet the meaning of our hardships usually only reveals itself once we have moved far beyond them. Looking back, we see how every detour led us to a new destination, but looking forward, all we see is the mist.

In our daily lives, this tension between confusion and progress is incredibly common. We often paralyze ourselves by trying to predict every outcome or waiting for a sign that tells us we are on the right path. We want a roadmap, but life only gives us a compass. We struggle with the uncertainty of a new job, the ambiguity of a budding relationship, or the fear of a sudden change. We want to understand the logic of our pain while we are still feeling it, but the logic is often hidden in the chapters we haven't written yet.

I remember a time when I felt completely adrift, much like a little duckling lost in a heavy fog. I had made a decision that felt like a mistake, and I spent weeks obsessing over how to fix the past or how to predict if things would ever get better. I was so busy trying to analyze my mistakes that I forgot to actually walk through the day. It was only much later, when I looked back at that period of fog, that I realized that very uncertainty was teaching me the resilience I needed for my next big adventure. The confusion wasn't a dead end; it was just a bridge.

So, please be gentle with yourself when things don't make sense right now. You don't need to have all the answers to take the next step. You don't need to understand the full story to keep moving through the pages. Trust that the person you are becoming is gathering all the pieces necessary to make sense of it all later on. Today, just focus on the step right in front of you. Take a deep breath, and keep walking forward into the unknown, knowing that clarity is coming in its own perfect time.
